A few examples include s*x questions on askreddit, “this” comments, nolife powermods, jokes being more frequent than actual answers

    I feel like some, especially smaller communities, prefer this kind of non-malicious spam to having no activity at all, to attract more users. This counts for Lemmy and for Reddit of course.
