Huge sync fan and pro user for many years now but I couldn’t get over the subscription and especially the one off cost, it’s just too much.

Been using infinity for reddit as soon as sync went down and it’s easily my favourite app out of all that’s available but it’s not without it’s downsides, at least to me. So I’ll happily use inifity for lemmy from now on, it even seems to run better then the reddit app lol.

I have mine attached to my keys as well as a pocket sized tape measure and box cutter. All these have come in handy so many times.

As for the phone torch situation, yeah that’s a valid point to but most of the time I need something much more powerful or don’t want to get my phone dirty.

In the summer it’s worst. I feel so sorry for my kids but we’re hoping that they grow out of it like we did. I’m 34 now and I only really get it on my hands and fingers, I can’t wear any rings because of it. I still get it mildy on my legs too and sometimes it gets bad to a point where I’m bleeding everywhere from scratching it but my hands are the worst, my skin is like old leather now and looks like it’s damaged from acid burns.

I love my smart watch for checking a notification that I can’t pull my phone out to check as my hands are usually wet and gross from my profession so it only makes sense to me.

Also, they work great as fitness trackers these days too, if you’re into that kind of thing otherwise a mechanical watch will work perfectly fine.
