Came here to say this. I wish other browsers would catch up to Firefox and add this feature for when I have to use them (esp. Chrome/Edge).

Not that benchmarks matter a whole lot these days, but I think for some benchmarks it was faster than Chrome. It’s close enough to not even be a factor, in any case.
Also, it has a feature that Chrome seemingly has no analogue for, and that is: containers.
I never entirely stopped using Firefox. I still use Chrome alongside Firefox for certain things at work.
One of the funniest Rifftrax is when they took this on…
I remember the olds whining and whining about how the homosexuals ruined the word “gay” for them.
So much “freedom” down there in Gilead. Policing colors and not letting people choose to eat lab-grown meat. Wouldn’t want anyone getting any ideas about any notions of ACTUAL freedom.
This is the guy that yelled at kids for wearing masks. During a pandemic.
What’s especially stupid is that dietary choice is not entirely a left-right thing, but the likes of DeSatan sure do try…
Remember the Nazis making a big deal of guzzling milk, because “superior race”, lol. Also, they did make a big deal of “soy boy” (as if being veg*n and/or drinking soy means you are not “manly”, lol).
Freedom! Small gub’mint!
…well, not like that! <- Republicans
Thanks again for all the info. Two of my monitors are years old, two of them I bought in the past few months (all are Dell). The nice thing is that a years-old 1070 will work with all 4 - even if refresh rate and resolution is not necessarily up to snuff for something like games, for the everyday stuff they are just fine.
I have to look at the specs, but I’m not sure any of mine support daisy chaining.
All good info. I should have clarified and said I’m trying to figure out what hub(s) (and software?) to use to drive 4 external monitors. The monitors I already own and have them situated for another computer; I have the Macbook driving two of them, but I’m not sure how the best option to add the other two to the Macbook…
It’s the Southern notion of “freedom”. Meaning you get to rule over others.
Yes, because we know how much the right really, really, really cares about things like plagiarism, at least for certain people (see: Ward Churchill and Claudine Gay).
Let’s see how consistent they are!
You have the personal freedumb to look just like I want you to look.

He’s doing that usual nonsense of “It doesN’t AffEct KidS lIkE It dOeS adultS” garbage, too, as if kids went to school in a fucking vacuum or something.
LOL, WTAF. I do think sometimes there is a certain portion of the terminally online leftists that have disappeared up their own derrieres, looking for offense in things like not being sufficiently intersectional, and generally playing silly oppression olympics, all aimed at their allies (meaning, only certain people are able to talk about certain topics and so on - it’s all so useless and pointless and probably only really results in generating more Republicans), while fascism is organizing and on the march.
Then the right keep doing completely stupid stuff like this, and I really wish those terminally online leftists would wake up and realize they need to stop all the infighting and realize the right are saying the quiet part out loud. They want to make it safe to say and do completely outrageous things to liberals, women, POC, non-xtians, anyone not straight, and so on. I think the leftists that spend so much time on policing liberals/leftists for the most minor of infractions in language or political thought would be a lot better off trying to win the hearts and minds of middle America instead of trying to find reasons to kick out their allies. Because none of their pointless theorizing will mean zilch if the right gets their way. In the most extreme of outcomes, the right will work to murder citizens that don’t meet their metrics for hegemony.
Depending on what you have a taste for, I seem to remember seeing this in Emacs:
Honestly, I don’t find it all that surprising. Men are wise to err on the side of caution when it comes to even the appearance of improper behavior and I could see how many might freeze up in such a situation, even if they knew CPR.
I remember a woman talking about how some kids were running around naked near their house and he had to call her, and she was kind of grumbling about how he wouldn’t just handle it himself. I had to explain that I would have done exactly the same. There is no WAY as an adult male I’d be accosting underage naked children and asking where their parents were, etc., unless they were in danger of freezing or other dangers. This woman was acting like her husband was being lazy and/or a wuss. He was just using his head.
I’m sure it would be in the short term, but in the long term, I bet it would land on being a better place to work.
The Texas Republican Party made being against critical thinking part of their platform, explicitly.
I’ll be honest; I bounce between several browsers - Firefox, Chromium, Chrome, and even sometimes Edge, and sometimes it takes a second for me to even remember which one I’m looking at. Firefox is great for very specific work flows I have, but for a lot of other things, most other browsers will do.
Maybe it’s because I tend to bounce around that I find it very interesting to hear that FF is difficult to use.
