System of a Downs ‘Toxicity’

Well a lot of the time those 12 hr shifts are involuntary. I work in a manufacturing plant and they basically dictate your life. Shiftwork is killer too

A work-life balance honestly. I’ve been working 12s every day this year and I’m missing out on my hobbies and my family. Financially I’m fine, but I’m gearing up for an early retirement so I don’t know if I can slow down now. So hard to make time for things I actually enjoy now. Basically just want to hit that balance so I have a fulfilling life.

I mainly use it for gaming, our house is too small for a dedicated gaming room.

Jerboa does this. I get content from all instances and I can block and subscribe as I want. I have no complaints at all as of yet. If you are using android, I highly suggest using jerboa

Or song chains, or really just a quick insult. I’d always see high karma, one-liners. It severely discouraged conversation

Actually being able to see my content on the page instead of being drowned in a sea of reposts, it feels better and makes me more motives to post instead of just lurking.

Honestly, lemmy is not bad, taking a little getting used to but there’s so many communities being created I wouldn’t be surprised if see a large migration over the next few months. It seems quite a few people have already made up their minds

Can I just say, I’m so happy that everybody banded together against them. Like a bunch of strangers on the internet grouping together to tell them, “No, you will not”
