My experience has been that Nextcloud can do 1000 different things, and it sucks at all of them.

I think some of the content, like comments on other instances, remains. Overall, a small server disappearing shouldn’t have a major impact on the network as a whole.
There’s no need to be large though. There can be many many small servers.
I want to give it a try but it’s hard to justify the cost with limited searches. I don’t want to have to keep track of how many times I’ve searched or second guess if I “really need to search for that”.

It’s unclear to me how these torrents are used. If individual books are not downloaded from them, is this only to make it possible to create similar sites in the future, in case this one is taken down?
