Every time I visit twitter I have a bunch of notifications of just post recommendations. To be clear I never got these when I used it regularly, it’s just trying to get me back
Minors can have cash app accounts legally as long as you have an adult’s account approve it
They need to add account and community migration as soon as possible
i would love to pay for it but i pirate because i dont have money to pay for stuff
the issue is you’re still using uTorrent, switch to qBitTorrent
i know this isnt super helpful but i used a tool on my steam deck that could both download and decrypt wii u games through a gui, i dont remember the name though. it took a while for me to find while i was looking for alternatives while trying to get other tools to work
What’s even more annoying is they’re capable of recommending interesting long videos, they purposefully recommend shorter videos on mobile (like less than a minute), on pc they recommend more long videos and the TV app seems to have the most long videos
If you leave spez wins. The majority of users will stay there and they either don’t care about, don’t understand, or don’t know about spez’s decisions. I’m sure spez would be happy to see all the protesting users who make him look bad leave.
What is this stupid giant red square trying to cover it up
What is it with the obsession with infinite growth for every company anyways? Why can’t they be happy with a stable, still extremely high, income? The people at the top already have more money than they need but still want more for no reason
Yes, please. The more changes Reddit makes that people dislike the more likely people will be to move to Lemmy.
I think Lemmy should defederate from threads for the simple fact that I don’t want to read mastodon or threads post on my Lemmy feed anymore than I want to scroll through twitter from the reddit app
Once it’s out of invite only it’s very likely it’ll surpass mastodon pretty much instantly
Except that’s not what happens
I’m fine with threads federating with mastodon as it means more content which means people won’t immediately dismiss mastodon because it’s too boring for them, but I don’t want Lemmy to federate with Lemmy any more than I want to read tweets on reddit. They’re different types of platforms for different things.
Letting your cat get that big is animal abuse
I like Mlem but the fact that I can’t search at all really sucks. For now I’ll be using memmy until Mlem gets more features
Nope. It just says comments are disabled. You can’t view comments on videos “made for kids”
