I’m putting enough money away that I see myself retiring. At minimum, I would transition to a less stressful job about 10 years away from retirement and ride that out as I go to work less and less.

That said, I know I’ll kill myself if my health degrades too much. I haven’t decided what would happen if I run out of money.

Zombie Strippers! (2008) is far better than it has any right to be, especially if they had kept in the deleted scene. The film has Jenna Jameson as a stripper at a club who turns into a sexy zombie, getting a lot of fans in the process. The other strippers as well as others tied to the strip club then have to deal with the consequences as more strippers become zombies to increase their earnings.

A Scanner Darkly (2006) is a rotoscoped movie based on a Philip K Dick novel set in future LA with a detective trying to find the supply of a dangerous new drug while being addicted to it and suffering from his addiction. The rotoscoping helps add a vibe of delirium to the movie and it is well acted including probably one of the best uses of Keanu Reeves as an actor.

Birdemic is a bad movie where everyone does a bad job making it. The only part that makes it somewhat interesting is that it includes obvious wish fulfillment by the writer-director.

And he did a great job getting nominated over the political machine.

Lemmy is filled with political content. Voyager is probably just showing what is most popular if you are viewing all, which is going to show a lot of political content.

The best options is to curate a subscribed list or block political subs you don’t want to see.

There used to be a deeper ranking structure on where people shopped for groceries and home goods, with strip malls at the bottom. This is part of the reason why people dressed up going shopping; it was a display of economic class.

Retail has flattened significantly across a lot of sectors where there isn’t the levels of retail there used to be.

Amazon has been trying to make sure it can be on all streaming devices as it provides the back end to a lot of other pay streaming channels. FreeVee was probably their Trojan horse to get people Amazon accounts and a service that low end streaming devices would need to serve.

Yeah, but I feel like that is just retail in general. If a store isn’t actively selling an experience, it is just moving product.

There used to be economic levels to where people would shop. Now, most stores only completes on price or convenience.

We get that it is the design philosophy for Mastodon to not have an algorithm serving content, but it appears to be a non-starter for a lot of users of Twitter like services.

In theory, a third party could write that algorithm and implement it in some form. Truth Social functions like that, but without federating to the rest of Mastodon.
