I seriously thought about it but I wasn’t down for paying $80 a month.

I remember I picked Lemmy.world to create an account only because I had no idea what I was doing and it seemed like the only one which had merit at the time (I know how things work better now.) Now that I know how decentralization works I’ll probably open a new account on another server when I get time.
Shit, I forgot Google bought fitbit. I just bought a used one not too long ago.
The problem is that with all of these efforts to take houses to pay for the card, it only covers 1% of the cost. Is it really worth it at that point? Is it worth it to take homes that could benefit families who could otherwise not be able to obtain a home?
I’d have to say I’m doing alright myself. I don’t make a lot of money. I’m not happy with politics and other things in the world but I’m thankful for what I have and that I am okay. I actively work to make my life better in whatever ways I can. I’ve met tons of people who don’t and are unhappy.
I think people are unhappy are more likely to say something in response to something like the Elmo tweet rather than say “I’m doing great/good/alright.”
I had a friend once who thought that doubling up on a condom meant double protection. That’s a huge no no.
King of the Hill and Destiny. Guardians stand on the moon with a cooler and just say “yep.”
Thank you! I’m terrible with word games and what not and I couldn’t figure it out.
As a kid we went camping near a reservoir and it rained real hard through a couple of nights. One of those nights there was some serious lightning. The loudest lightning crack I ever heard scared the shit out of me and woke everyone in the tent up, but we all stayed quiet. I was terrified. It had to of hit the ground relatively close. I thought it was going to hit again and get us. Thankfully it calmed down after that strike and sometime later I fell back to sleep.
Gotcha, yeah I think I was looking at the YouTube TV thing.
