The film was alright but the show takes it to whole other level with many aspects IMO. Stunning cinematography, great writing and acting.

Did you watch the show Ripley? Highly recommended if you haven’t yet.
Haven’t seen it but that’s a BOLD statement. I would like someone else’s opinion who has seen both.
Never even played Zork once yet I will always think of this track when it comes up.
I only learned about it a few years back myself from Stuff You Should Know podcast.
Honestly, I’ve had decent experiences at Studio Movie Grill. That and Alamo are the only theaters I’ve been to in the past 10 years as well.
Yeah well up here in Dallas we’re… wait what do we have cool up here again? Uhhhhh hmmmm…
He’s still using XP?? I’m guessing his computer isn’t online then?
I haven’t kept up with anything chiptune related in prob 10 years or so, so no I am not too familar with any new tools for the GB. I did enjoy making music on it though. It fun to work creatively when there are a bunch of limitations!
Do you make Gameboy music though? I used to really be into LSDJ. I know nothing about programming actual games though
Can confirm. Already happened yesterday. The hot temps are creeping in early this year and I’m still dealing with all the fallen trees from the storms last week. Steamy as heck outside.
That’s the plan! I read it originally to quit cigs but ended up picking up the vapes.
I made it a month once. It’s really seated as more of a psychological addiction for me. I am going to try reading Allen Carr’s “The Easy Way” for quitting vaping to see if I can start the brainwashing process of not “needing” this fix.
Vaping nicotine. I know I can stop but it’s just a very difficult challenge for me. Still better than smoking cigs but I really need to let this vice go.
Fair enough. I’m not into most of that behavior either except for maybe the occasional low-effort shit post.
After almost a year of being Reddit free, I have been peeking back in there lately. It just doesn’t hit the same but I do lurk in some subs just because of the volume of content.
I do enjoy Lemmy though. I don’t feel as intimidated to make comments and like to feel we’re building something from the grass roots here.
Expand on this if you don’t mind. In what way does Lemmy disappoint you in how it resembles Reddit?
Been listening for years and seriously have never heard AJ that drunk and unhinged. Epic episode
Been here an almost year and literally just learned that from the above post.
