Loops?
What is punishing about exploring? Elden Ring is probably the easiest souls game, you can just mount torrent and leave everything in the dust.
Everything looks like an early 2000’s Honda now. :(

The same will happen with Relay for Reddit soon too. DBrady is still holding open the app, paying the costs for it, so that he can release a subscription model. I love Relay, but I (and I imagine others) won’t pay a subscription for a stripped down version where majority of the $$$ goes to Reddit and not the developer… If he had an option to pay him directly I would consider it though.
More importantly, there is a lot of paid content on older playstore accounts that will require merging with new accounts. There is a lot of us that have been around since gmail was invite-only and made some questionable account names that were later required to be more professional. There was no option to change existing addresses - so new ones were created. Now we have to log into all accounts on our phones to access that content.
They better start figuring out how to merge old accounts into the new ones then. There is about to be a shitton of email undelivered that was forwarded from old addresses to new addresses…
It’s getting there. Kbin just needs a full-featured app and I’ll be ready to settle in here for the next decade. ArtemisApp is coming along nicely, though.
There were genuinely some good deals on Amazon yesterday though. I ended up buying a newer kindle for myself because it was the lowest price since last November according to camelcamelcamel.
Doubtfully even if they reverse the changes. There has been a culture shift in what people are willing to do for free as a whole, let alone for reddit. Reddit won’t pay, and then they made the mistake of letting everyone see that the grass is greener on other platforms, and the devs they screwed are scrambling to build up those other greener platforms like they did for reddit.
Its the equivalent of a brain drain of scientists fleeing a country at war.
I also use Relay, and I’m not sure how I feel about this move. I’m using reddit less and less since the blackout, and mostly just to check on the protest at this point. I love the Relay app, and DBrady is an incredible dev, but I refuse to give money to reddit after this whole debacle, especially for an app that will be stripped of it’s full capability,
This app looks really good. It looks almost exactly how I have my kbin account set up with scripts in a browser, and the gestures are very nice. - I hope it adds kbin support or one of the kbin apps ends up looking like this or better.
Weird that the dev would pick the platform with the least engagement to build an app for.
These are the most important ones I use.

It varies wildly. I’ve got about 2000 into Path of Exile, a couple hundred into fallout 4, 100 or so into each Souls game, but I had literal years of play time put into WoW before I quit playing in Wrath.
I really wish there was a way to save posts. I guess this comment will have to do!
I learned after my wisdom teeth removal that I’m highly sensitive to Vicodin… I was either high as hell or passed out for the whole week after my surgery. Still miserable when awake too. :(
@couragethecowardlydog Yes, but it’s a top non-politic internet story, and on literally everyone’s mind who just jumped ship to kbin/lemmy.
And as strange as it is to say, people are also grieving for a loss. Reddit has been a daily addiction for many of us for a decade.
It’s ridiculous that I can pay for MLB TV and the ONLY game I’m unable to watch is my local team…
