I already have a desktop, but… So, in bed… I have socket right next to me. No problem. Uni? There is always a free socket.
Like, I probably will get a battery somewhere down the line, it is just, not a requirement or priority at the moment
Sleepy catgirl, who loves common lisp (And other lisp dialects)

Yea, NixOS is still the most tempting, because the ease of ZFS (I plan to get 2 more used SSDs, and slap RAIDZ1 on it for memes and fun xD)
Yup. Fun times!
Thanks, I am definitely going to have fun with it… While, upgrading to quadcore i7 will wait a longer while, I might buy cheap used SSDs + adapter, and run 3 SSDs in RAIDZ1, just for the heck of it. Will it be practical? Probably no. Will it be fun? Hell yea.
Also, I hope, the person who got that W540, that they very much enjoyed it as well :D
I think I will survive without Wayland… I will miss gamescope a bit, but, it is what it is.
Steam UI… good thing I don’t spend much time there.
Proprietary driver, shouldn’t be a problem. (seems it is easy to install, at least on NixOS) And I don’t run secure boot, so, no issues on that front :D
No DLSS, I will survive. FSR cute anyway :3
Also thanks for extensive reply, I appreciate :)
Ah, so, things will be fine for me, thanks
On desktop, emacs + org, on phone, obsidian. Maybe if I figure out how to put emacs properly on the phone, then will move all to org…
Hunt: Showdown.
The thrill, the suspense, and at times, action.
In theory, could do that with EfT too, but, EfT doesn’t work on Linux, so that doesn’t count :/ (And, with the recent changes, I feel EfT became too much of grindfest, while Hunt feels… chill at times. Which I love.)
I would say… Termux/SSH clients, as they are text based… Tachiyomi, with disabled animations… But beside that, not much. I just abuse the fact that e-ink devices that I do have, do refresh the screen at decent speed (e.g Hisense A9, Onyx boox Tab Ultra), so… most apps are actually useable, even if… the experience on other devices would be pure misery.
Sorry for not being able to be much of help #_#
Ooh, nice to see more lemmy clients
Oh, I do it a bit differently. I just buy on PC, download azw3, deDRM, then convert to epub with calibre, and yoink onto the devices with syncthing, to read on koreader Also, AI enlarger seems nice, so I will check it out
Ah, I will, thanks :3
Ooh, cute app, thanks :3
Ooh, an open source weather app. Might check it out. I did try Joplin, but… Ultimately it just wasn’t what I was looking for Thanks :3
Oh yea, Forgot to list Termux, but, since my 10.3" inch e-ink tablet broke, I haven’t been using it as often :c Using emacs inside it, and having lisp… was mega comfy
jtx board seems nice… I will check it out, thanks :3
Oooh, I will check out Aegis and LibreTube, thanks :3
Pretty meh. But at the same time, decent, but not.
So, on one hand, I got more time to spend time with friend in Hunt Showdown, fun game. On another… I Kinda went down on reading time… I am still averaging over hour per day, buut, it would be nice to read more q.q And I want to read more in Japanese, but some days, its just… struggle train.
Man, I used to have PSP back in the day, and I loved it.
And now, I am kinda pondering, on buying a PS Vita, for some emulation. And I think I sure will do that. Just… gotta get money first…
It is very much a nice distro.
Some things it does so well, for example, it took away all the pain, in regards to using ZFS, and nvidia drivers. It just works. No messing with “Will this kernel work with nvidia?” and such.
And if something does break, being able to still use, the pre-update system, is just life saver sometimes.
