  • My wife is OCD cleaner, I tell people and they’re like lol mine too… no brah. If she is stressed we have to change the bedsheets daily. Toilets and sinks are cleaned minimum once per day but more like 3 times. Vacuums the house 2 to 3 times, mops the whole fucking house 2 times and then like mops random spots 10 times a day. I do all this shit too on my day off while she is at work because I love her and don’t want her to do it all when she gets home and then if I forget one thing it’s an argument… and she will just redo it all anyways so I didn’t have to actually do it. Hours upon hours are spent cleaning. Sometime she is up in the middle of the night like 1am putting on a load of washing or unpacking the dishwasher

  • So I no longer work there but I worked 10+ years as Ops manager in international removals. Once a year we would do a stocktake on all the inbound freight locations, pull aside anything that was out of place and then try and find an owner, most of the items were returned to their owners. But every year there would also be a few items without any identification, I would set these aside myself in the warehouse and then the following year if still unclaimed I would take them home or throw it in the bin.

The best items are 3 x 1.5L bottles of Penfolds Grange & 50g bar of gold.

But other than that there are so many items, a limited edition Beatles Sargent Pepper’s marble pressing with all the inserts intact. Few antique gold mirrors. Artwork. Media centre PC. Dining table and chairs. 2 Herman Miller office chairs, that’s just the stuff I remember while looking around my house now

  • Same, I’ll unpack any electrical item and keep all the packaging including the wire tiers on cords, plastic bags with the tape carefully folded back and pack all of that back up in the box and storage the empty box in my garage incase. I then use the item until it breaks and then 6 years later see the box on a shelf while walking passed, realise I no longer own said item and throw the box away.
