I suppose we could make it a double tap gesture 👀
Fix is incoming for QuickLook view (images) disappearing when rotating device 🫠
You good :p Would appreciate feedback when feature makes it out in the wild 🤓
Cozy feature indeed, although Apple’s API is $50/month after the first 500k calls, so…🤔
Yep, you’re not imagining things 🥲 I’m gonna take a look because this is likely what’s causing some performance issues triggered by (not yet released) tab bar navigation 😑
Don’t take your eyes off Mlem, problem solved 😏🫠 closing this bug report 🤭
Yea! There’s a draft PR that I left sitting around waiting for some 0.19 lemmy changes and also because the feature was triggering some undesirable performance issues not related to the tab bar itself.
Tbh it’s gotten faster just by building against iOS 17, I’m probably going to finish it up and merge it in since so many of us want this 🙈
Unfortunately the system (SwiftUI) tab bar doesn’t come with this behaviour for some reason.
This is on the latest TestFlight build (1.1 RC)?
Tapping or swiping should collapse that comment along with its replies (but not parent or sibling comments). Is it not doing that for you right now? Or is it too early in the morning and I need to sleep more? 🙈
Will check this out 🫡
Do you mean tap “Feed” tab again to scroll to top? That feature is almost ready to go (famous last words), it just barely missed this update unfortunately 🥲
Makes sense, will smash some keyboards tomorrow and make it happen lol
Anything in particular you love the most? 👀😏
What is this, 2007?! 🤣🙈
This got borken while improving scrolling performance 👀 Just identified the commit that introduced this bug, so fix will follow shorty =)
I feel you, definitely should be a Lemmy feature (not app specific) though, as much as it’s very tempting to implement 👀🫡
Good point 👀
Really depends on how we want it to work, I always program in redundant interactions that perform the same task, since some people like to tap and others swipe
