Probably my wheelchair. It’s a pretty nifty little chair that has quite a few unique features. Also I would need it to get there anyway. Otherwise maybe one of my drawings.

This is a great suggestion. It’s a very useful thing to have. People are always asking me for help with things, I’m the only one with tools I guess and I only have a small box, mostly cheap stuff from harbor freight. But it works!
Absolutely. I never meant to suggest otherwise. I’m just saying, people should spend more time picking an instance.
I mean they’re being really clear that they plan to basically do subtle griefing of other NATO friendly instances… They’re also fueled by misinformation and perpetuates it. Honestly the web needs a little censorship. I know that if I really wanted to see them they’re other instances I could be on. This one just cleans up a little better.
I’ve relaxed with it quite a bit recently. But I still like having them on me at all times. There’s times I like wearing it. Especially certain places like the doctors.
I leaned no one on Lemmy are as helpful as they seem. Nor as nice… I gave up on trying to run my own instance… My life is too busy and hard to find time for this anyway…
I ended up just starting over…
me too… i wish i never clicked that dumb box lol
yes, when i visit the site it gives me a 404 error.
404: FetchError: request to http://lemmy:8536/api/v3/site
I would love to know more about how that works! If that’s an option then that’s what I want to do lol
This is really interesting. But how well does it actually work? I’m attempting a personal server on a Raspberry pi right now but the compiling is taking a huge amount of time.
I wish I could. The whole computer is completely frozen! Just the mouse will nudge a little very very slowly. I don’t think I can get another terminal open. And yes it’s very slow hardware. It’s a raspberry pi 3.
Why are you going to move? Genuinely curious.
I hope it doesn’t disappoint! But I’m feeling optimistic I think it’ll be great.
He started lemmy.world on June 1st
This is something I never thought of but one day I’ll be grateful I know this lol
I’m trying to figure that out actually. I think ideally end to end encryption is important. No mega corporations like Meta. Being able to send pictures, videos, and pdfs. Being able to have calls both voice or video. I’m not sure any messenger has all of these things, but I’m on the hunt!
Yeah, I mean on lemmy.
Okay I will then. But what’s the difference? And why so many linking methods?
I’m all for defederating Hexbear, but lemmy.ml is absolutely huge compared to Hexbear. To motivate the community to do that you’d need quite a bit of proof. Or at least something rather compelling. Do you have any proof of what you’re referring to?
