Big W for the Trump campaign…
Big W for the Trump campaign…
No disagreements about about him being a prick, but wishing cancer and even death on another person seems pretty wild to me.
I find it funny that Americans (esp. Republicans) who love to «win» at all things, would be fine to allow Russia to win against the west in Ukraine. I think if they decide to stay on their isolationist path, Lavrov’s propaganda from earlier in the week will come true, and the US will seize to be a superpower. «Greatest country in the world»? Starting to look pretty weak to me.
Somehow I don’t think there’s much risk of anyone doing it willingly…
There’s a nightmare scenario if I ever heard one.
I swear all these memes are generated by Trump’s own people.
Absolutely right - Signing up needs to be as easy as signing up for reddit. And same with searching for and subscribing to communities, even on other instances. Your average user wants the technical details of the Fediverse abstracted away from them. Anything beyond that and adoption won’t be what we (most of us?) would like it to be.
Anyone able to tell me which open source AI models the memo might be referring to? I’m not up to date on the landscape here and would love to know more.
1Password isn’t open source, is it? I use it and I’m super happy with it though. I don’t mind paying a bit for good security. I do wish it was OSS though.
What’s wrong with «wefwef»? Genuine question I guess 😂
I don’t get their motivation behind this change. I mean I read the write-up they posted, but I don’t get how they could seriously think this is a better experience for users.
I honestly don’t care whether or not reddit (the company) gives a shit. I just want users to realize that reddit deserves to be replaced by something more open and user focused.
For sure it will pass. I think the reddit landscape in the aftermath largely depends on the duration of the blackout. I think for people go truly shake the habit, it needs to go on for a signficant amount of time. Otherwise the masses will return, forget, and move on.
I find the main problem here to be that you have to grant the extension access to everything you’re viewing online. Granted we can inspect the code to check if it calls to some third party and leaks your data, but staying on top of that on the daily just seems unlikely for me. Maybe I’m just weird like that.
Very much so. Question I wanted answered is; How much progress have they made in those five years? If Starfield has taken 90% of the studio’s resources, then it’d essentially mean that they’ve started working on TES6 in earnest not too long ago. So maybe we’ll see it in 5 more years? The thought saddens me.
These people have no idea what constitutes a good user interface. Just because they’ve taught themselves how to use the one from 1998, does not mean that grandma of 78 would find it as intuitive. Applications like this have to accommodate so many different types of people and somehow the neckbeards seem to forget that. Can’t imagine why.
