I thought that too. I regret to report: it gets worse.

This is a truth that everyone under 30 denies until the day they turn 30. It’s like a magic spell is suddenly broken, and you realize you’re alone in an aging meat husk that now knows the glory of back pain.
I know a young person will read this and think this won’t happen to them. To that person: I am you from the future. Remember us as we were.
Not when used with Tailscale. You can put Tailscale on the VPS and on your home server, put Nginx on the VPS and point it to the Tailscale address for the desired service with your desired subdomain.
Voila, Nginx is serving your content through the Tailscale tunnel without edits to your home network. If Tailscale works, then this will work.
Storage size, privacy, security, operating cost…I can think of several reasons. I use a cheap vps to help me route traffic to my ebook server, and I don’t have to pay for extra storage on the vps to hold all my comic books, which can be quite large when scanned in HD.
Gavin Newsom doesn’t even seem to be all that popular in California. I have no idea why people think he’s a winner.
Until there is literally a smoking gun, I have no serious reason to believe that Carter is anything less than a man who has done his best to be good. He was also a human being, and I’m sure people can dig up a bad interaction if they look hard enough. Still, it doesn’t invalidate his lifetime of attempts at making a positive impact on the world.
Carter ain’t no Cosby.
Using ProxMox has been extremely useful for me. It has allowed me to experiment with a lot more things than I ever did before—it is very easy to spin up a new VM to test things out.
I would recommend it to anyone running a home server.
Pretty sure Chipotle is owned by McDonalds.
Invest in real food. It is the foundation of your body.
It’s almost like they’re a bad car.
This may be the first true thing he’s said in his entire life.
There is a difference between not paying attention and not registering memories. Millions of people operate cars a little zoned out every day. With both hands on the wheel and a decent level of experience, your muscle memory and natural reactions will operate the vehicle adequately.
Zoning out a little on the road does not equal distracted driving like text messaging, loud kids, or fiddling with screen controls. Your mind is still focused on the task, even if you aren’t registering memories about it.
I watched Malcolm X starring Denzel Washington last night. He talks a lot about how a history of oppression creates a mental slavery in the victims, and that the mental servitude must be overcome to stand a chance at being truly an equal.
Maybe you should give it a watch and see if it speaks to you too. It didn’t inform me of how to fix all the problems in the world, but it definitely gave me a lot to think about when it comes to addressing the problems in yourself so you can be an example for the world.
Watchtower may be what you’re looking for.
“Boy, oh boy, am I glad to be an American.” - Donald Duck
This is correct. It’s about a healthy scalp. Like lotion for your head.
Thanks! It’s nice to finally understand why it’s so snappy.
Because he’s having trouble getting it to connect that way, and for reasons I don’t completely understand, Resilio Sync connections seem to be quicker and more reliable than using a traditional tracker as the only seed.
They will, butt on the internet.
Wikipedia suggests that the origin of the j in marijuana is a bit more obscure than that:
The origin of the word “marijuana” foreshadowed its current use. Historically, the earliest and most numerous group of users in the Americas were slaves from western Central Africa (modern Gabon to Angola. Their words for cannabis are now used in nearly all the places they (involuntarily) ended up during the 1700s and 1800s…Most notably, in Central America, the Kimbundu (Angolan) word mariamba became the Spanish word marihuana.
The word “marijuana” as we know it today did not appear until 1846 in Farmacopea Mexicana, though it was spelled “mariguana”. In most following instances, the word was spelled marihuana. In Chilean Spanish, mariguanza is the dance of a shaman in an altered state of consciousness.
I have no illusions anymore that this pattern won’t repeat. I enjoy my back pain for what it is: the pre-hip pain era.
