Yeah the colors come from the os, my keyboard shows the monochrome one when I pick it. That was all very interesting!

Here are the same queries with Kagi (I was interested to see the difference)
Something like this is a good start! I use transmission as the torrent client instead of deluge. Also added a service for my vpn and use that as the network for the tranmission service so all traffic is routed through the vpn. https://ochoaprojects.github.io/posts/PlexAutomation/

Personally love Piped and the LibreTube app. I’m using the smnz.de instance for steaming and adminforge.de for authentication. Been super stable over the last few months. AFAIK Piped acts as a proxy between you and the yt servers so they have no chance to gather data about you. Not sure invidious works the same.
Just use an alias, it’s anyway a good idea to find a provider that lets you create unique aliases for each account.
Been using DuckDuckGo for a long time but I recently trialed Kagi and have been quite impressed! It’s not free but hopefully it keeps the enshittification away for a bit longer.
I thought so too, the main problem I found mentioned online is a file with only one chapter for the whole book. But mine was fine and was an official publication. I even tried a repair tool to no avail. Converting did the trick though.
Thanks for the links!
I got a kobo recently and noticed bad performance with some epubs, very slow loading times and page flips. If I convert the file kepub with calibre (requires a plugin) then it’s super fast but I don’t think there is calibre for phones.
NixOS users be like : meh, just rolling back
I reported the bug to Proton support and they said they are investigating but suggested I uninstall and reinstall the extension. I did and lo, my forms started working again. I can recommend you try to uninstall and reinstall too (disabling it was not enough).
Note that the “plus” suffix doesn’t hide your real email, that’s a small but notable difference. I could well see websites parsing for +… patterns and removing them before selling your data.
That’s cool! I’ve used enough raspberry pi’s over the years to know that SD cards, even if industrial grade are likely to fail at some point so I try to avoid booting from them. eMMC would be much better but sometimes a pain to flash depending on the tooling available. Having a SATA port would allow to use HDDs which provide a lot of capacity for cheap. I guess the processor needs to be an Amlogic for the best media experience?
How does storage look/work with a SBC? Do you have to boot off of an SD card? Any support for sata drives?
Rust or bust
