Some people like the idea but to me that only makes sense if you are basically doing the nomad thing at a cheap location. You’d want to stay in the place for awhile as you’re still spending most of the “vacation” working all day. On your days off you could do more. On an actual vacation you would actually be enjoying yourself the whole time. Traveling to just spend all your time working seems like a waste.
Also just try to work on just a laptop for a week. It sucks. I’m not doing that.
I’ve never heard of a rule. Maybe with booze or smokes? Maybe some states or cities have some weird law like NJ does about gas.
I’ve bagged my own groceries before when it was just the cashier or other baggers were busy or something. Also there is the self checkout. If anyone were to complain I’d just joke, “don’t worry, I was a professional in a previous life”. I did actually work retail and bagged stuff while being a cashier like a decade ago.
They might think you’re odd or think it’s weird if you rebag things like they did it wrong. Maybe be annoyed if you were slow. I don’t think too many employees would actually care or get insulted. No one under management gets paid enough to care.
If you’re expecting 100 hour plus experiences in open worlds or detailed campaigns like AAA titles for $30-60 then there aren’t that many. There are still good titles. Might want to check out steam and see what’s popular in their VR section. Maybe see what has longer play times if that is what you’re interested in.
I have music or whatever it’s called now because I music and red together where the same price as just red. I still have it because I use YouTube more than streaming services like Netflix and don’t mind supporting creators I’m watching. I use some of the features of premium on the app on my phone and fire stick too which could be worked around but would be a hassle.
For a vast majority of people who mainly view YouTube as a free service I highly doubt they’d be willing to pay $7 a month let alone $14. A large portion of their viewer base is kids and they aren’t going to pay. Maybe if they add stickers or whatever TikTok is going nuts over as part of the monthly sub.
I’m of a similar mindset. In theory there could be some advantages to users for some kinds of apps but companies tend to need to develop and maintain a good mobile version of the site anyway.
And some of the advantages might not be wanting features like notifications or location data. Neither are probably great for reddit, at least how a lot of people use it.
I know my dog loves meeting people and getting attention. She basically acts like she doesn’t get any pets at home.
If she stops on a walk it’s usually because she wants to sunbath or smell the same spot for 10 mins.
Often time scammers put a few typos and whatnot into initial contact to weed out smarter people. Mainly if the scam is going to involve phone calls or something. Scams just trying to get passwords or infect your computer might try harder to look legit.
25 to 45 years seems like plenty for most of the profit of a work. Maybe 5 years with an option to renew it by the author using the copyright with maximum of 50 years or so. That way abandoned IP or works no longer being published can be used sooner but people who have a series or keeps selling a work can keep control of the IP.
The life of the author plus 70 years bs we have now is insane. It use to be 14 years originally then was 28 years for a good while.

Health wise there really isn’t a big advantage to being vegan, vegetarian, or a meat eater. People can have healthy or unhealthy diets regardless of particular restrictions. In the past there wasn’t a lot of vegan junk food or options so vegans kinda had to be healthy on accident. Now days you can get just as messed up on vegan food. As an example oreos are vegan but no one is going to argue they’re a healthy meal.
A complete protein is important but a little more complex to get without meat or dairy. Right now the cheapest protein sources are chicken or protein powder derived from milk (whey). Vegan options are kinda pricey for powder and whole foods would be kinda a pain if you want a higher protein diet. I wonder if they could do “lab grown” complete protein powder cheap.
Arguably the lab grown meat could be more efficient than growing a whole chicken. And a lot of people simply won’t give up meat.
If the vegan is there for ethics then cultivated meat should be all good. More ethical than cheese or leather anyway.
Maybe some will complain about the source of the starter cells or something.
After the meeting a few of the smart ones asked for clarification over email to get it writing.
It’s more like watching them post about how bad a date went or hearing about how they got kicked out of Wendy’s.
I haven’t subbed to any reddit related magazines/communities here but they pop up on all. I do think it’s probably healthier for people and this platform to move on. I do get why people still want to hear about shenanigans.
That would track. Maybe just hidden results. YouTube did that with dislikes. I think Facebook did as well.
The related names makes it really hard to be a useful name to search.
It’s probably a good idea to cast a wider net but I’m not mod or anything. In the US the term “liberal” is used to just mean “leftist” in most everyday conversation. People aware of actual meanings might get annoyed but no one seems pay attention to those people.
They wouldn’t delete your money just because they don’t like you.
They’d “arrest” your money for some crime that may or may not be legit. Paperwork and people getting their cut would be involved.
It mainly lost it appeal as crashes, arrests, lawsuits, and thief keep happeneding. It was shown to be scammy with scammers scamming.
And yeah the new hotness of LLMs also helped. The tech bros who use to be pushing “X but with crypto” are now looking to push “X but with AI”.
There is something to aspect ratios or low res but it not quite just those things. Those things should get the people making shows to design the show to look good in that format. Those design decisions then can lead to a different feel.
As an example it’s kinda hard to have a ton of stuff going on in a single frame with low resolution. Props or visual designs might be simpler. The way people would be positioned in a shot would have different limits for the aspect ratio as well.
Always Sunny is in the same boat with older seasons then moving to HD. I think some of the creators of the show wanted to keep doing 4:3 but I’m not 100%.
Are you on the younger side? Generally younger people want to be older mostly to be able to do more adult things or have the things in life older people have built over time.
Getting older isn’t just looks although that is just a matter of personal preference. There are health concerns and things like lower energy. Taking care of yourself helps a ton but sometimes you get bad genetics or some kind of aliment anyway. And age will eventually catch up with most people.
I do still recommend things like exercise so you can feel 30 at 60 instead of 60 at 30.
