I’ll have you know I graduated college magna cum laude. There is literally no way that I misspelled a word.

Same. I created my account when I was 14 and I’m 25 now - almost half my life ago. That account contains thoughts I’ve had for 11 years now. I just can’t delete it all like that without somehow archiving it.
I’m the same. My account is 11 years old. I created it when I was 14 - I’m 25 now. I like the ability to read through comments that my teenage self wrote :-)
I’m getting the same vibes. I was in middle school when I signed up for reddit 11 years ago, and I still remember an askreddit thread that was, “Reddit, what do you look like?” and the comments were just selfies. It felt so tight knit, even when it was eclipsing a million subs at that point. These days that kind of community is only found in the most niche of niche subreddits.
I’ll give it until the end of June. By that point, anyone who was going to leave reddit will have left, and new users will come more organically. At that point, the rexxitors will do what redditors do best, which is gatekeep.
Angry, pointess debates are so fun lol. They’re my guitly pleasure
Same here - I was never an active poster, but I love commenting! Must have something to do with our personalities.
Welcome, hyperslob!
Same here. I’ve been using old.reddit with RES and apollo for so long that I forgot reddit even had ads until I tried the official app.
That sub started out fun and with pretty believable stories as well. Nowadays people write novels and the comments take everything so extreme and serious.
I once got banned from some random sub for commenting in r/conservative. I responded to the mods like “tf? I’m a leftist, I’m debating with the conservatives” and got a response from the mod saying “yeah whatever you’re wasting your time and you sound like an idiot. Bye.”
