I’m waiting for those workplaces to get fined or sanctioned… still waiting. Hmmm, I wonder why corporations, who are people by law, aren’t being targeted in the same way as humans for the same crime.

They will just blame any and all negative repercussions on liberals and immigrants, continuing to vote in people who destroy their lives.

Yes, her name is already on the ballots, like RFK Jr is still on the ballots in many states, but the hope is her supporters will listen to her endorsement. Just because a person’s name is on the ballot doesn’t force people to vote for that person. Some people have voted already, some will continue to vote for her out of protest, some will continue to vote for her because they didn’t hear she dropped out or didn’t care. But the hope is enough people will hear that she dropped out and endorsed Harris that their votes will come through for Harris.

Maybe, maybe not. The fight could be a distraction to draw the air marshal into the open and into a vulnerable situation so that a highjacking can take place. As long as there isn’t immediate danger of loss of life, they might choose to let some guy get punched in order to continue their primary job of protecting 300 other people. Or they might step in.

Looting at several stores on one street corner in a city the size of LA… headline says “mass looting.” Maybe I’m just used to a different level of looting after big protests in the past, but that doesn’t sound like mass looting to me.

As much as I hate using cash, I understand that the credit card companies charge ridiculous fees to businesses and also that people with very low income don’t always have access to digital forms of payment. Maybe Sweden does better with equipping their entire society with digital tools, but in the US I don’t think we are ready for a fully digital payment society.

In order to stop the genocide we need to vote in the people who will destroy the country and commit even more genocide, in the hopes the wreckage of the country can be salvaged into something better. I’m comfortable making this choice, because the extra genocide will only be happening to other people, not to people like me who look just like them over here in the states.

Well, you see, when every single time election fraud and election interference has been found it is only on the same side, then it tends to make people think there might be something going on in that one side.

There are more things to vote on than just the President. State representation is important.

My memory is hazy, but I’m pretty sure Mozilla was a package and most people just didn’t install the rest of the package. Everyone called the browser Mozilla because they didn’t use the other parts. I could definitely be wrong, though.

So a 15 year old has been in prison for 15 years for a conviction based solely on witness IDs from a book of photos. Two of the three witnesses said in court they weren’t 100% sure their ID was correct. There was absolutely no other evidence linking him to the crime.

At this point, even if he is guilty I might feel like 15 years is a good sentence for a first time offender who was only 15 at the time of the crime.

How are we supposed to oppress people if we don’t have people to oppress?!?!

You’re telling me the country that doesn’t allow gay marriage, doesn’t allow adoption by gay couples, and criminalized couples leaving the country to get a surrogate baby (i.e. gay couples) has an issue with cops being homophobic?

And the country whose soccer fans regularly make monkey noises at black players has an issue with cops being racist?

Zero proof of anything and zero reason to doubt anything, yet both women they talked to know in their hearts that the election will be stolen (again in their minds).

The biggest point all those election deniers ignore is that almost the only Republican with any chance of winning who didn’t win that election was Trump. Why would Democrats not steal the election from goddamn Mitch “The Turtle” McConnell? Why would they they “allow” Republicans to gain 12 seats in the house?

One is giving you a gift worth less than $5 for taking part in society, the other is paying you $1M for saying you will vote a specific way. And before you say a gift is a gift, the government has a definition of a gift when it comes to fraud, waste, and abuse. Heck, if we go by your insane equivocation of the two things, those “I voted” stickers are the same as getting free coffee.

Trillian was definitely part of that war. I remember the daily patches to get things working again.

Trillian was not Mac only. I’ve never owned a Mac and used Trillian almost exclusively from 2002 until roughly 2009?? I can’t remember when the transition from IM to texting happened for me, but it was around then. When I was running Linux at home I would use Gaim, which was developed by a friend of the main Trillian guy.

Cost of business punishments do not work.

A) The people who executed these deals broke the law and should be subject to criminal prosecution.

B) Raytheon should be subject to sanctions beyond fines. They should not be allowed to bid on any federal contracts for a specified time period.
