Without knowing much, I feel like it runs into the same problem as Latinx. It is unintuitive to speak the words how they are written. The specific auteur.ice example seems relatively easy to actually speak, but I’m sure other words run into the same problems.
Look at truth social for how that worked.
To your second point, this is actually a major problem of debates from a psychology stand point. Unless people are willing to change their beliefs, debates actually strengthen their belief in their previously held ideas. It is useless to debate someone that is not willing to change their mind.
