Wow, that triggered my trauma really bad for a split second. I used to get told that all the time when I was a kid, just because I was curious and neurodivergent. Eventually I came to see that sentence as a symbol of the poor empathy of neurotypicals for autistic people, and of ableism in general. If you said that in my house to a member of my family you’d probably start a domestic incident, because every autistic person I know has a similar experience.
I’m glad Playstation games are coming out on PC now. I bought a PS4 for the exclusives and the ones I bought it for were good, but I’m never gonna buy a PS5.
Funny thing about owning a console is that when Christmas and birthday come along, non gamer family and friends would rather get you a physical object than a steam key. But a physical object is sooooooo inconvenient. So I own the PS versions of RDR2 and AC Oddysey, and I’ve never finished them and probably never will. They’re good games, but it’s a bad platform. Bloody annoying.

Well, I’m not going to have any interest in the game now.
My problem isn’t that animals died to make the game. That’s a bad thing, but my actions can’t affect it. They’re already dead. My problem is that this game is going to further extremes than any other game to deliberately include and glorify animal killing. I kinda forgive it in games like BOTW or Horizon because it’s part of the story, they’re just portraying life as it exists for some people. They’re not thinking about their actions. The dragon’s dogma people are. They are intimately aware of the fact they’re glorifying death, they took the time to think about it and said “that’s a good thing”.
Look, the crystal maze is absolutely essential to run Woodchips without a waterslide. You can complain all you want, but unless you want to run back to Microsoft for your woodchips deployment, this is the way. The desktop is a good place to put stuff that I use rarely and may forget that I have or forget the name of.
For example, the games I own on Epic that I like are on my desktop, because I’d forget I had them if I had to open Epic to see them.
With the digital realm becoming increasingly important and approaching the physical realm in terms of importance and familiarity, I now consider people who use their desktop for everything to literally be hoarders. It’s mental illness. I forgive it in old people but if you grew up on computers and you live like this, this is a clinically significant unwillingness to clean up one’s personal space.
I hate it when games save in my documents folder. I use my documents folder for important stuff like my documents. Shove it in appdata or steamapps or somewhere reasonable.

Not OP, but for me it was realising I was dronegender. I could either be an atheist whose identity was valid but not “real” as I conceived it, or I could embrace a religion that said my identity was achievable. That said mind melding with a swarm was possible and I could be who I am in a physical sense and not just a personal one.
