interesting, how does one become a billionaire in such a way that anyone and everyone could do it?

not at home but I believe there’s a few that run in docker.
the best answer I can find is that the Olympic committee protested that it would affect whether the Olympics would accept attendance in that city if they allowed it, maybe someone can do a deeper dive.
Of why it’s coming back - a) Trump repopularized execution, b) Pfizer caved to public pressure to stop producing lethal injection drugs and c) electric chairs aren’t humane and suffer the same issue as firing squad that executioners suffer PTSD, it’s not very humane - being painful, long and often taking multiple attempts until the victim has a heart attack, which they of course experience and then die.
It seems like the answer I can get is that nobody really likes killing people, those that do suffer PTSD, and the messier the method the more unpopular it is.
Probably, with a bit of reflection, many people don’t actually like the death penalty when it comes to being present at it.
Due to blood being produced I believe that’s disqualified. Otherwise a .22 caliber bullet followed instantly by a .22 hollow point to both the brain and the heart simultaneously would be the fastest and most humane experience for the victim.
However, very few people want to build and operate such a contraption.
The war on drugs is a euphemism. Ending It doesn’t mean stop drug legislation, it means stop putting parents in jail for 10 years and putting their kids in care because they smoked weed and the kid accidentally told a cop when the cop visited their school and told them if they didn’t rat out their parents something worse would happen.
People wanting to kill themselves probably take care to do it.
Anesthesiologists won’t do it. That’s why they had so much trouble executing the guy in the first place: its not a doctor doing it, just a prison guard.
Automated a copywriting gig on an extremely locked down terminal entirely in Excel VBA.
It would open my email, download the list of tasks, open a browser, extract the official product copy, RegEx it into bullets, I would add a few verbs and conjunctions, hit a button it would upload it to the CMS. Turned an 8 hour day into 30 mins.
Is it normal to know anything at all about your local Sheriff?
I had to do three google searches and then scroll down for a while to even find my local one, then their bio was so dull when I looked it up it was difficult to pay attention to it.

really a mix, pop, death metal, jazz, alt, edm… although if I need to concentrate it needs to be a song that I don’t know if it has lyrics as otherwise it’s distracting
These are people who believe that violence is justified by its efficacy and vice versa, barely held in place by the current rule of law.
Fiance visa took about 10-11 months for entry to the country, then converting it to a 2 year green card took roughly 7 months, then when I renewed it they changed it to a 10-year one.
I think it’s different with every type of visa though.
As a green card holder I do have the option of going “home” - except I own a house, have a wife, friends, a job, a car, a phone - all with payments still left on them (especially the wife waka waka waka) - obviously I’ll leave if I’m literally in danger, but if I’m not and it’s just that I don’t like the president and it negatively affects geopolitics somewhat, on a personal level, leaving the country would be disastrous for me.
Jacob Collier has entered the chat.
not to diminish your point - but separately - also disproportionately innocent people
Isn’t part of the controversy that its questionable there was even a knife involved?
as a complete layman and hobbyist i also personally think that “more pythonic” coding can sometimes be more confusing.
I dont think any beginner reads “j for j for i in k” and instantly gets it.
maybe unpopular opinion idk
Eh. it’s start up culture. They give the C suite 50 million dollars and want 100 million dollars in 10 years and they aren’t shy about going full Gordon Ramsay on anyone not 100% dedicated to that, even if you just get paid hourly to manage social media
venture capital. a group of investors with money who will put that money into promising companies so when it’s successful you make more money back.
If there’s no way to get to the top, how is the upward mobility “great”?
