If only climate scientists had warned us 50 years ago we probably could have done something.

Bring on the boring! Its what lets me daily Linux as a real alternative to windows. I love that my system gets constant updates, I get to pick when they install, it goes out of its way to NOT overwrite my preferences and settings, it maintains the look and feel I set it to, and it stays stable.
And so Netanyahu can avoid criminal prosecution.
Also just a little slow to come around to reality like always.
Edit… Down vote all you want I’m still a big Bernie fan but the whole US government has been on the wrong side of this war from the beginning. We treat Palestinian lives just like black and brown lives at home like they didn’t matter.
Lastly Hamas is not Palestinian I can support Palestinians and condemn Hamas.
thats like a 5min fix, just solder a new on one.
Im not sure i want to recommend something with OEM software and soldered switches because then he is right back to the same situation
He is familiar with mostly full sized, but I sent a few alternates like Alice. Materials/cost will be evaluated after his other priorities.
I dont think he would be happy with anything less than a TKL. Knowing the kind of work a 10keys are probably a requirement but I did send him some split num pads.
Thanks, but this guy is not the Macro on any key kind of person which is why i was specifically looking for macro keys.
Thanks
Thanks

100%, it’s the lack of the X3D parts. Zen 5 on its own is compelling but not for gamers and DIY, would I buy it in a pre-built desktop or a business machine, Yes I would all day long. But if I’m gaming and there’s no X3D part why would I get anything else other than a 7800 X3D. AMD really shot themselves in the foot and what’s worse is we warned them it was coming yet they chose not to listen.
My kids, who began using Linux at home and then Chrome OS since the ages of 5 ,would suggest that it’s only older users who are completely stuck in their ways and can’t adapt to different operating systems.
How dare you make such a direct and personal attack on me!
Second this, whatever you pick never let someone else “own” your data because then they own your company. If you cant export data freely so it can be imported into another system, then its not yours.
Nothing until we talk honestly about guns without everyone flipping their shit.
I think my favorite overclock was back in the early Conroe days when Intel first released the core m processor. I bought an Asus white book and after assembling everything and doing on a power-on test I immediately powered it off and did a pin modification to force the socket from 100 megahertz front side bus to 133 megahertz front side bus.
It was such a simple modification that netted me significant performance improvements and voided my warranty in the first 5 minutes.
I enjoyed the read, and it leaves some interesting questions for further research as well as asks some interesting questions about the future. Ideally ActivityPub will grow to a point where big tech cant own it but we will see. For now I will enjoy my slice of the free good old web, with the rest of my fellow neckbeards and greybeards.

Ubiquity is trash with fickle support based on the whims of what sells wide adoption. TP Link IMO is a decent value for the money if you want easy “prosumer” level networking gear. I have I have 3 TP Link APs as well as a 16 port 10g core switch and its great for my needs.
Mikrotik offers more features per $$ but its not as easy to use.
