1 year agoExactly. That’s what I meant by a 502. Like most HTTP responses, you can associate a template with it and it’s even recommended when you have a lot of people using your service and you want to explain why it’s not accessible right now.
Those preventing history to be taught intend to repeat it.

The best would be to redirect to a 502 for the duration of the migration. Better safe than sorry

How many more users could be added? I know that lemmy has never been so popular so we can’t really know, and that it will mostly depend on the hardware used, but have there already been any load tests that might give an idea?
