I get very into games so it’s really hard to pick. But the longest lasting impact IRL was when Mass Effect 2 gave me a revelation on human relationships.

I never understood cheating on your partner. I just didn’t get it. I mean if you want to be with someone else, just leave. Shitty people who just don’t care, I get that, but normal people, not at all. I could kinda wrap my head around it if alcohol was involved, or staying because of kids. Other than that nah.

Now I play RPGs as if I was actually going to make those decisions. So I get even more into them than others. Liara wasn’t a love interest and she was who I originally went with in the first one. I was bored without the cute interactions with her, so I started talking to the other females on the ship. But they weren’t Liara. Each one had something I found similar to her. It got to the point where Jack asked me if I was talking to anyone else. I didn’t want to hurt her so I said no. And then Tali asked me the same thing. But better her and Jack, I wanted her. So I said no.

I honestly didn’t realize I was seriously leading them on until I messed it up and they both were mad at me. Then it clicked. Cheating is impulsive because you are looking for someone else. Sometimes you don’t realize you’ve set yourself up until it’s too late. 🤯

You would’ve loved black and white 2 then. The basic concept of the game was you are a god and you can choose to be evil or benevolent. Like if roller-coaster tycoon and Age of empire had a baby. The pointer was a hand that moved depending on what you were doing in your world. AND it changed the more evil or good you were.

Yeah, but it’s making other people aggressive outside of the country. So its not very helpful, you can’t police people in other countries. This whole thing is like pedestrians walking in a crosswalk without looking for cars. Yes, the pedestrian has the right way, and the car should stop. But being right doesn’t really matter if you’re dead.

There is nothing wrong with this. People are just freaking out because its “nuclear waste”, which causes people to be irrational.

Yeah it’s ridiculous, but they aren’t just burning their own property. They are filming it with the purpose of causing problems. And it did. They can’t do whatever they want if it endangers others. In an ideal world no one would react with physical violence to words. But we don’t live in that world.

I’m not a fan of that law existing, but I can see why they would want it.

Why not just make a law against inciting acts of aggression? Filming yourself burning religious texts is purposely trying to piss people off. That way it would cover anything that has the same goal without being just about religion. Freedom of expression, unless it’s just trying to make others angry.

Yes, for most people it makes them jittery. Similar to how Adderall makes nurotypical people manic/high. High caffeine intake is self medicating.

ADHD and ADD brains are functioning slower in parts, but this results in the typical symptoms of these disorders. So drugs that are “stimulants” bring the slow parts of the brain up to speed. In a typical brain these drugs over stimulate it.

Get tested for ADHD. If you have it, start working with a therapist who specializes in ADHD and can prescribe medication if necessary.

Or the cheaper option drink a coffee. Did it make it easier to focus? Yes? Then ADHD, so drink lots of coffee. Lol, but seriously just get tested.
