I saw my retired grandparents buy property in the country and spend all day working on their garden and continuously making improvements to their home and doing other projects that interested them. In the summer they traveled the country and camped. If you spend your retirement wasting away in front of the TV that’s on you for not finding some hobbies.

They banned me for giving my opinion on how child molesters should be punished and then permabanned me for doing it again when I got back. Funny thing is people say the exact same kind of shit about all kinds of other people and those comments are fine… weird how they only care to protect people who molest children.

I used to work at a auto shop and one time a lady came in wanting an estimate to replace the majority of the exhaust on her car. We didn’t do exhaust work so the only way for me to price that out for her was to go based off the purchase of all the components from the parts shop which would have been way more expensive than a shop that actually does exhaust work. I told her as such and then she insisted that I price it out anyway which took forever because I had to find a diagram of her cars exhaust and cross reference all the parts with the parts shop website and then the entire time she’s bitching at me about how long this is taking. I continued to explain that going to an exhaust shop would be cheaper and she continued to insist. When I handed her the estimate she glanced at it, laughed in my face, and stormed out. That shit happened almost 2 decades ago and it still pops into my head frequently.

I accidentally switched to it and it dropped all my non-MS mailboxes. Then when I immediately switched back it had the gall to ask me why.

Reminds me of my last job where I had to build a ridiculously complex excel spreadsheet that I copied a bunch of reports into to do scheduling because someone decided I didn’t need access to the actual data…

Agreed. They switched us to teams for our softphone and the caller ID doesn’t even show me the number that called half the time. I just get a generic location which is worthless to me.

Keeping me awake would be a nice side effect if it meant I could take it whenever I realize my nose is fucked. With Nyquil I can only take it at night because it knocks me on my ass. It works great but I have to struggle through the first day I start having problems.

Yea that was my thought too. When I was a teen we had one PC and it was in a shared room. Had to rely on the TV for jerk off material. These days everyone has the whole internet in their pocket. TV is for watching good stories, they can skip the sex scenes.
