In this case I’m happy I always installed Windows without RE partition. It works fine and you can still uninstall updates. Broken system files can also be replaced by a fresh pull from Windows Update.
A recovery environment is overrated under Windows. Just backup your files and reinstall from scratch.

I started with blender and I agree: It’s not made for technical modelling. There is a custom blender version with common CAD features, but I’ve been put off by the - typical for Blender - steep lerning curve.
Long story short: You can’t go wrong with FreeCAD.

I would not make it too easy to filter out the edited comments. So replacing all with the same paragraph may not be the best idea. Some variation apears to be the key to me.
