A lot of the most heavily advertised games are the ones people wouldn’t play without addiction models or whaling hooks, ones that require marketing to get people on board.

Nintendo does takedown like this all the time. I haven’t seen anybody actually point at evidence of fraudsters, and there is no reasonable benefit to doing this as a fraud. There is no avenue of profit.

What evidence do people have it was copyright trolls? Nintendo isn’t just assholes about this, they are the fucking poster boy for fucking up fan made content and support in the name of IP.

As if Rockstar couldn’t do both with the fastest profit generating piece of media of its decade.

The game literally set records for profit generation against all media types on release, they could have had 10 teams working 10 different DLC’s simultaneously.

It was a choice to not focus on single player, and not a bad one.

At the end of the day, the content’s longevity goes up when integrated with GTA online and would increase the activity count, thus profitability of online.

It’s an AAA company working for a profit, not an indie title passion project.

I’ve seen more articles about this game than any other and haven’t heard of a si gle person in my office of gamers or my gamer friends talking about it.
