To be honest it’s hard to decide, I hate facebook/twitter/etc. I don’t want to be close to those social networks. I find Lemmy great, small enough to have a decent community and big enough to get content unless you doom scroll 24/7.

But just last week I needed to search for something and I only found the answer in reddit, I even felt weird going back to that place. I’m not sure we got enough members to cover that kind of necessity. And I feel that if we alienate from other places we’ll eventually die because of lack of members/content.

You know, OOP in Spanish translates as “Programación orientada a objetos” or POO in case you need it

Even if Science Fiction is more popular now it is still kinda a niche area, so disappointed to get one of the good sources do this

Putting aside the idea that everyone can read the code and find/fix exploits, sometimes it’s good to be open to vulnerabilities because you know where/what to fix.

Sometimes closed code it’s exploited for years before the owner or general public finds out, and that leads to more problems.

I’ve been there and you know what’s worse about it? When you fix it only you or a handful of people notice the astronomical labor you did.

There’s a small town near my home where they specialize in doing crazy popsicles and ice cream, I never had it but they have bean ice cream. I assume it’s ok since it was a big bucket, I wouldn’t make a big one of they didn’t sell enough.

I went there as a child and they had tequila ice cream that wasn’t that good, I assume it was a grown up thing. But the avocado popsicles were really good, I recommend them.

I wonder if they are still there.

What sucks is that TIFU was decent before people started doing it… Malicious compliance started to decay at that level too in the last year or two
