  • Your tip is “make another game and I’ll buy it because the last one was good”.

I bought your product and you want me to pay extra because it lived up to what it promised?

You want me to pay someone more for simply doing their job? If you aren’t paying them enough, that they needs tips to survive, that seems like an employer underpaying. If it’s tip or I fuck with your food or chase you down in the street… Then that’s extortion.

“But with proper wages instead of tips the cost goes up.” THE COST IS ALREADY UP BECAUSE OF THE TIP YOU IDIOT, except it isn’t standardised or garunteed.

“But if there is no tips to incentivise people they won’t give good service.” What ever happened to do your job, get paid. Fuck it up and get fired.?

All it does is introduces stress between customer and staff. And causes a sense of entitlement to tips for things that don’t need it at all. Why the fuck is a self-checkour machine asking for a tip!?

A tip should be for EXCEPTIONAL service. Not for the bare minimum.

Tipping culture can get fucked in the ass with a sideways chair.

  • I’ve always struggled with it. Often people let it degrade into a line with tiny bumps, and it becomes illegible.

Personally I am Autistic and have ADHD, so the fine motor control is hard to manage. I can’t write cursive neatly, but if I slow right down I can “draw” cursive.

Growing up undiagnosed when I did, has developed a hardy set of calluses across the knuckles from teachers hitting them with a ruler for bad pen grip or messy writing.

Most of those fuckers are dead or in diapers now.

  • No. Some of us were already there.

Lifetime Microsoft expert here, I have had machines with Linux in one flavour or another for 15+ years at least.

But for ease of use I just keep coming back to Windows… Because I know it backwards and upside down.

The structure of it makes sense to me. And I have ADHD so I have a terrible working memory and Linux relies FAR too much on command console to do anything effective.

But Linux is hands-down the better system to get away from Microsoft’s enshitification of Windows. But I personally like Windows better.

So I will always run both. But if I need to be really productive, Windows Desktop it is. If I need a server, Linux every time. (Unless it’s MS SQL or a website).
