Good for you. I haven’t been that lucky.
Good for you. I haven’t been that lucky.
Because of comments like this I am missing the downvote button on my instance…
Good luck if you have a laptop, where the manufacturer just shut down the servers with the drivers (Sony Vaio) and you have zero chance of getting Windows running properly.
You forgot that you were using arch, btw.
Indeed. That’t when I knew that I had chosen the right solution. :)
I wasn’t that lucky. I had to nuke my account and start with passwords from 0.
No silent treatment or rude comments afterwards?
Facebook is nowhere dead. Everyone I meet wants to chat via Messenger, small firms here don’t bother creating a website anymore, they create a facebook page (’ cause everyone’s there) and local/company communities use facebook groups to talk. Not to mention event hosts, they create fb events. If you are interested in topics that are liked globally, the fediverse is getting better. But if you are looking for a local community, you’ll rarely find any. The lemmy page of my country is basically dead, the sub however is thriving.
India will have a real problem in a couple of decades… Or they will make their own models with unlimited lifetime honks.
WTF is this? People finding their way from lemmingrad here?
Ordered by Stalin, leader of the Communist Party.
we don’t exchange usernames
This is the way.

I don’t think it’s liberal politicians doing this. A right wing person would much rather tend to deny calling something far-right in order to protect their interests. A liberal would scream “nazi” when seeing something that opposes their world view. The nazis have committed horrible crimes and I think that their name should not be inflated, because if - God forbid - the same tendencies would start arising again, you could not use the word “nazi” anymore, because it has been already used e.g. for pro life people.
Was this made by a 10 year old? No one would say that while seeing someone doing the nazi salute. Far more common is calling someone a nazi nowadays if the other person does not like what someone’s saying.
I opened the AMA to look for his answers, after a couple of minutes I gave up, because I found none.
RedReader dev says that they were allowed to operate free because of the accessibity they provide.
On android I am using redreader too and liked the minimalistic approach very much.
RIP. I really enjoyed using it while I actively used my iPhone. I guess RedReader will end up the same.
I joined lemmy.one when people started moving from reddit to lemmy. In the early days there was not much choice, either this one or the woke beehaw and some other “just started” instances with one or two people. (and lemmingrad ofc) I have recently switched to another one.
