Correct. They now embed ads directly into the subtitles. There is a python program to strip those ads out, but doesn’t work with Plex directly. It can be setup with bazarr, but that requires sonarr and or radar…

The idea of an gallery feature would make for a great addition. RiF of course does this automatically to imgur gallery links and so does RES.
I think this is an interesting observation, is that on the “all” list I guess, correct?
Google search has just gotten so incredibly bad. It’s even getting bad at programming searches which used to be a strong suit. Luckily duckduckgo has actually gotten better.
Agree, it’s happened to me too, answer is post the question on Lemmy instead! This time those ass hats can’t take it away.
I’ll give it a try later, but I think Google broke that in the current version of Android unfortunately. I personally have to use “Better Open With” and some odd assortment of settings to get some control back.
Why did Google Chat implement XMPP initially (with federation even), only to then destroy it later?
Thanks! I actually had somehow missed that.
You’re right, it is, but there are some folks who want nothing more than to burn down what you built. In the real world those people get physically dealt with, but in the virtual world where there’s no means of physically restraining someone, what’s your alternative?
Oh God, how did I not see that reference (Lemmy ➡️ lemming) sooner kek.
It’s only the “alternative” until it suddenly isn’t. If Reddit truly isn’t profitable then it will die faster than we all thought possible.
Yes! How do you even search for a community in Jerboa?
Yes agree I so what this.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy it exists. Lots of good in this app. There are some key features though that I miss. Specifically the RiF interface for subs search and joining and the sub-grouping feature.
Yeah but you can be sure Mets/Zuck will either bastardize the protocol from the start, or embrace/extend/extinguish.
We can only hope they are that stupid🙂
I’m wondering the same, I would guess grey listing and shadow banning to be the most effective.
And RiF. The ability to search for subs and create topic groups, etc.
I’m using it right now, yes. Unless your referring to the alpha, than not yet.
Sounds like a stable diffusion prompt. Dr Evil Googler laughing and telling YouTube user to drink another verification can of mountain dew.
