I wouldn’t say its unpopular, but I do agree its a bit ignorant but not in the probably negative way you mean.

You’re making a huge leap that we need to suffer through all of the internet getting worse just because a corporation wants to profit. Fuck Google, Fuck Reddit, fuck all businesses that fail. Who cares? We owe them nothing.

Skip a step. Fight the oligarchs. They’ve stolen all our shit.

Well the plus side is that the entire food production of the planet would collapse and you’ll most likely be dead or fighting for food. So, a hot day at work isn’t going to be a problem.

I spent a few weeks playing through the three expansions after not playing for 8 years. (My inbox was full of years of free stuff)

It’s really quite good. I don’t need to get deep into some grind system, which it definitely has. But the story was quite good and the world building is fantastic. Even the combat was fun.

It’s worth checking out, I think.
