I got school as first recommendation :')
My office had a period where we used LibreOffice and others because of some licensing dispute with Microsoft. However that period of peace ended when we migrated to 365.
Can you share a reference for this? I’ve seen similar claims but for the PRC military. If they’re finishing their upgrades at around 2027-2028, shit is really gonna hit the fan.
This is the kind of thing I could spend hours doing during my college days. I remember the golden days of Android custom ROMs and specifically kept a phone that got a rotating ROM everyday (God bless Titanium Backup).
If there is even a GPU being sold. It’s much more profitable for Nvidia to just make compute focused chips than upgrading their gaming lineup. GeForce will just get the compute chips rejects and laptop GPU for the lower end parts. After the AI bubble burst, maybe they’ll get back to their gaming roots.
And I’ve also read somewhere that pediatricians who says it can also destroy you mentally when seeing parents who doesn’t really care about their children wellbeing.
I guess it tracks with not wanting to deal with shitty parents.
In software development it’s usually used to describe the situation after an incident was resolved. The team that’s responsible for the feature usually performs a postmortem to find out the root cause and find out what they can do to avoid another incident.
Luckily on my system it didn’t break.
There’s definitely an LTT writer that’s active here.
Well I’ll be damned.
Text for my screen reader using friends.
Me: What is the I in LLM stands for?
Gemini: The “I” in LLM doesn’t stand for anything. LLM stands for Large Language Model.
I’m currently dual booting and still uses Windows for gaming since I tried gaming on Linux and I basically got around half the FPS that I usually got on Windows (I have Nvidia GPU). I think I’ll fully migrate when I upgrade to an AMD GPU sometime in the future.
I love having an analog clock. It makes it feel like you have more time compared to a digital clock, making me more relaxed. For example, if the time is 12:34 PM, my subconscious will think, “Ahh, shit, 26 more minutes before 1 PM.” But with an analog clock, I read it as around half an hour before 1 PM. The visual representation also helps, like seeing that there is a distance that the hands need to travel to reach a certain time.
All in all, I very much prefer having analog clocks vs digital when given the chance.
Thankfully, Firefox is open-source, so we can just use one of the forks, or perhaps Ladybird will be ready for general release by that time.
At what cost, though? I thought the generations after the millennials would be more tech-literate. But after seeing Gen Zs around me at home and at work, things are just regressing.
It’s the transgender Muslim terrorists leftists.
Well that’s already my Monday morning gone. I use Authy desktop for all of my work 2FA tokens.
You don’t really need connected cars for that. My car has no smart features but still has a remote start capability. It uses the car remote to trigger it instead of cellular connection.
Passwords and lotsa creds. I know an infra engineer who stores all of the keys to the projects he’s involved in his message to self Slack. When I asked him about it he told me ‘when I found out that the company billed my time 5x my salary to clients I stopped caring’ and I was like OK that’s fair ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’ve been experiencing this, but only when I’m not logged in to my Google account. It seems that they’re forcing people to log in so that the search results are less shitty.
