The vaccines are still free in many countries. PS the latest booster vaccinated against the wrong variant.

At least 15 percent of people end up with long covid. And that’s the ones who go to the doctor with it. Last Christmas everyone I talked to “didn’t have long covid, but…” They could no longer do anything without getting out of breath. Or they kept forgetting things. Or they could only clean the house for 10 minutes when they used to be able to clean all day.
And then there’s the diabetes, autoimmune disease, heart disease, dementia… All things you can end up with thanks to covid. And none of this is rare.
Yes. It’s not fucking hard.
Shame the latest booster was the wrong one.
We’re all over masks. But we’re still wearing them because we’re not idiots.
My shit started about two months after having Covid. Longgg before I got vaccinated. I think some people think it’s the vaccine because problems don’t tend to start right away when you have covid. It takes a while.
Welcome to the club! Herbal tea?
The point of being an admin is that you can edit and change everything that is posted. If someone does something illegal on your instance, or they’re posting stuff you don’t like (racism, homophobia, etc) you need to be able to fix it.
Admins have always been able to modify posts. See Reddit, forums, etc.
Reddit used to be “nice”. Then it became toxic. And now the toxic asshats are here and the moderators do nothing.
Ah yeah I’m afraid we don’t take the high road anymore. It’s not worked. Probably because “the libs” have realised that y’all don’t have a better nature to appeal to.
(And something tells me you’re projecting)
And your notes don’t suddenly increase the price of your storage.
Yes. It’s faster and it doesn’t end up getting lost on my phone or PC somewhere. I can also leave a page open on my desk if it’s something I tend to forget (currently German prepositions).
Right-wing, bigoted communities shouldn’t be allowed to exist. Period.
The problem is that people keep creating new communities with the same name.
The problem is that these things keep multiplying. You can block one instance and then it turns out there’s a dozen more.
Well… If I never see a post about tech or a meme again it’ll be too soon.
It’s also really hard to block everything because there isn’t a simple block button available, you have to go into the message and then scroll all the way to the bottom (which is fun when infinite scrolling is switched on).
Starlings are cute and pretty (although slightly obnoxious).
It’s a total pain to have to go into the community, scroll all the way down, and then get an error message when you click the block icon. Or a login screen. It should be possible to block communities from the front page.
