  • As some who has had 20+ piercings over the years and who knows people who have piercings. Generally we don’t get them because we think other people will find them attractive, we get them because we think they look good. I’m down to 4 piercings now because of things like jobs, but I do miss them.

Everyone’s tastes are different, while I think piercings look cool. I don’t think everyone suits them. An eyebrow piercing can look awesome on one person, and awful on another.
And some people flat out dislike them. That’s fine. So long as people aren’t shoving their opinions down people’s throats and trying to force them to change, differing opinions are a good thing. The world would be very boring if we were all the same.

I’m the nerd with tattoos, dyed hair and piercings. A lot of people make shitty comments and I also get a lot of compliments. I don’t see the need people have to go up to and say or shout across the street a shitty comment at someone. Their choice in clothing/ piercings/ body art doesn’t affect your life. Move on. If someone thinks I look awful, that’s fine, that’s their view, I’m good with that. But outright going out of your way to voice your shitty comment to someone, that’s not cool.

My point is, your opinion is fine. But if you then attack someone because of that opinion, that’s not okay.

  • Listen sweetheart. I’m saying drag queens wear make up as it’s an aggregated form of art for showbusiness. So take a seat at the back of the class and actually learn reading comprehension.

I said drag queens aren’t the ones saying women need to wear makeup. I’m saying society is. And drag queens wear makeup as a form of art. What’s so hard to understand about that.

Clearly you just hate drag queens. If your fragile female ego takes a beating cause a drag queen looks better than you. That’s a you problem.

As a woman who doesn’t wear makeup. I think drag queens are great. They’re funny. They’re amazing at their form of art. And they’re also in a group that gets hate from the world, as the majority are gay. So I’m all for them going out there and doing what to do despite the hate and shit they get from homophobic fuckwads.

  • So you’re not a woman because drag queens wear make up?
Sounds like you’re a bit of a transphobe with your underhanded digs.

Drag queens wear heavy makeup because they’re men, and it’s show business. It’s an exaggerated art form.

It’s not drag queens who propagate the women wear makeup stero type. It’s been a societal pressure for years now. Just like shaving legs, it’s about what society wants women to look like. Women were and still are in a lot of places, seen as objects who need to look pretty and keep quiet.
So don’t blame drag queens for an issue that has been pushed by society for a long ass time.

If people want to identify as male or female, that’s their choice. And their choice doesn’t affect you. Just like a person you don’t know getting a tattoo doesn’t affect you. Their body. Their choice.

  • It’s easier to hope someone will have information on an individual who’s is reported on. Someone might see the article and realise they saw her in a coffee shop with a man, looking very uneasy. And tip off police.

Whereas homelessness is a much harder thing to tackle. That requires government intervention rather than individual intervention from someone who saw something suspicious. And getting a government to care about homeless people is a huge ask.
I hate that we have a homelessness issue, and I hate that it’s not reported on much at all. Things should be in the public eye, in hopes that people wrote to their local rep to try get help.

But it’s more likely you’ll find a missing person (dead or alive) by posting an article than it is likely you’ll resolve homelessness.

  • Christ on a bike. You’re allowed to not like something, that’s fine. But your opinion isn’t law.

Removing children from parents for a party, and saying they’re better off being abused in a system rather than with their family because they… Threw a party. That’s unhinged. You have serious unchecked mental health issues.

Maybe I should lose my kid then. Because I bought food and one confetti filled balloon to do a tiny reveal for my 6 year old sister because she was insanely excited to know if she’d have a niece or a nephew. God forbid I wanted to do something cute for my sister. I hate parties, I hate big celebrations and small ones. But seeing her smile and basically vibrate because pink confetti fell out of a balloon was such a cute moment. There was 4 of us there in total, me, her, my mum and my stepdad. We already knew. But wanted to make it a little bit extra fun for my sister. So please, tell me how I’m narcissistic for wanting to bring a little excitement to a child’s day.

  • Oh my gosh, that is adorable.

To the artist who drew this:
This artist says keep up the good work! You’re doing great. I’m a huge lover of foxes, my art started by drawing foxes when I was younger. Yours are so much better than mine were!

Nourish their talent, let it grow! Art is an amazing thing and it allows us to express ourselves where words cannot.

  • The rich are taxed. They pay way more than you do. They pay way more than the non rich people combined. The top 10 rich people pay more taxes than all the non rich people. So don’t come at me about taxes. Your tax contribution is basically nothing. Whereas they pay insane amounts.

In my country. You pay 40% tax if you earn over 100k a year. Which isn’t even rich, but you basically give up nearly half your wage you work fkn hard for. So don’t try pull the tax bullshit.

  • Miss me with youtube, I’m not giving them clicks.

I honestly dont care either. I get sick of people telling others how they should live and what they should do with their own money. Be happy they donated 10 mil. That can do a lot of good.

If people are willing to tell others how to spend their own money, they should also accept others telling them how to use their money too.

Its like the free speech bullshit. People think it’s fine to police others speech just because they don’t like what they’re saying, but if someone tried to police their speech they get butthurt. Stop trying to police people and just be happy when someone does something good.

  • I feel you. Me too.

That’s why it’s good that people are donating to funds like these. Celebs donate big amounts. Even if it’s less that 1% of their worth. Who cares? It’s 10mil, that’s a lot of money and can do a lot of good.

My point was, I notice the people who screech about celebs not donating enough either don’t donate themselves or wouldn’t even consider donating the percentage of their money that they feel these people should be donating. It’s hypocritical.

The rock is a good person, he’s worked to get where he is. He’s entitled to his money just like every other Tom, dick and harry is.

As much as I dislike shitty rich people, looking at you Elon, it’s still their money. And if we screech about how they should spend their money, it’s only fair that we can then be told how to use ours too. Would it be nice if people like him used money for good, yes of course. But end of the day, it’s their money to do with as they choose. And even a donation that isn’t huge to them, is huge to others in need. So it shouldn’t be complained about. It should be seen as good.

  • That’s exactly what it is, control and surveillance. They don’t like that the public have stuff that isn’t accessable. I wonder if they’ll complain when they realise it’ll be harder for them to hide their shadiness if they get rid of E2EE. Then again, they know they’re shady, so it feels like a case of, we’re shady so you must be too. So now we want to see everything you do so we can watch and control you better.

It’s not about the children, governments pull the children or terrorism card because people see those words and don’t think to look deeper, cause if you go against the policy you must hate children and want the country to burn!
