No justice, no peace. Guns everywhere. What could go wrong.
Zero chance. In Texas, decades of Republican control has corrupted the state courts, stacked supreme court (zero Democrats), who coincidentally never rule against their governor.
Voter’s choice? I’m not convinced these types of proud facists (who’ve projected stolen elections and other lies for years) value free and fair elections. The good ol’ boys know best.
Way beyond foolishness. It’s more like weaponized stupidity, cultist behavior, that’s threatening all of us with some kind of idiocracy.
I happened to catch NASA on YouTube for a few hours that morning. There were a few problems, but they got through it. At about T-10 min, everyone seemed to feel this was the one, clear to launch. Even a few speeches ('MURICA!). I left for a minute and came back to the crew access arm being extended… It was difficult to watch them have to painstakingly evacuate the crew again instead of sending it to space.
Google was just like, “It’s ending and your bill will revert to full price immediately.” And it did. (But service has been great otherwise, so…) But I’ve read that other providers are offering some options and discounts, so that’s nice.
And at the other end of Boeing, they’re having extreme difficulty getting Starliner launched again (part 2: human boogaloo, endless problems, even while years behind SpaceX). It’s like they’re being sabotaged, only it’s probably just mismanagement, incompetence, and demoralization.
“If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?” Yes, apparently.
Aw. And neither was this “woman”, who it seems was just Russian ops trying to lure another dumb American hostage.
We’re experiencing extremely high call volume.
Every hour of every day, because company won’t hire or pay for anything better.
Press 3 to have a representative call you back; You won’t lose your place in line.
Sure. Meanwhile, I get on their website and try their weird “chat” support popup, that somehow takes care of the problem hours before I ever get a call back.
This is why people hate phone support. And why I don’t trust and won’t buy products from companies who only have phone support (or “social media”, Facebook, Twixer). Give me a dedicated support email address, or something text-based (live chat, contact form) on website, thanks!
In oil country, the land may be getting less stable. Korean Samsung (and planet Earth) vs Texan oil barons, I wonder who Texas will protect.
I don’t really understand this, either. Other than these new SPACs being the cutting edge of fraud or some kind of white-collar crime. Here’s some interesting info (and comparison with Reddit IPO).
SPACs were supposed to be a quick and easy way for a company like Trump Media & Technology Group to go public, but it hasn’t worked out that way.
Instead, they’ve developed a reputation as a kind of back-door IPO for companies that probably couldn’t withstand the scrutiny involved with a conventional listing.
Many of the highest-profile SPACs, including Nikola, Virgin Galactic, and BuzzFeed, are now unloved penny stocks.
I don’t see anything in these photos that warrants an article. Seems like another lame click-bait conspiracy, probably cooked up by tabloids or the equally brain-damaged: “But where’s Kate?!1” Even The Verge has an article, JFC.
Social media will continue to fuel endless garbage from the minds of who-the-fuck-knows and literally insane people. Can’t wait for AI to turborcharge humanity’s decent into madness.
T**** just forced him out as Republicunt senate leader. I was not really expecting an endorsement, Bitch seemed to loathe him. Maybe he demanded both, lol.
Gonna be fun to watch them all get on their knees and kiss the ring, only for him to lose again. Hope Biden sends some real firepower to their second coup attempt.
I’m skeptical of the FDA’s capabilities in blood red states like Texas. (Or any federal regulatory agencies, frankly.) The states do everything in their power to show contempt, weaken, undermine, infiltrate and obstruct them (and feds are slow at best to react).
In my view it was similar to the recent Manchin / Sinema travesty. Zero Republican votes, plus some very cowardly or corrupt “centrist Democrats” that neuter or kill bill. A classic recipe for disappointment.
Yes, but longer. It’s absurd. Not sure exactly when premiums really got out of control, though. There’s probably a good chart out there.
Democrats tried to fix this almost… 15 years ago (“thanks Obama”). Critical failure: no Medicare option for all. Most civilized democracies implemented right to free care 30+ years ago, should’ve been easy to follow. (Then higher education as well.) For-profit health insurance companies and their armies of lobbyists are evil and should be burned to the ground.
whynotboth.jxl There’s room for both. Apparently they eventually need a “sustainable business model”, though. Pssh. (Does a billionaire daddy count?)
If all else fails, they’ll claim it’s… unconstitutional? (Without ever reading the constitution, of course. Much like their bible.) All laws that upset their feelings, or aren’t a clear win for their team, just need to be “reinterpreted” until they feel better, or their team wins.
Exactly. There is zero chance that this guy was speeding (3x limit, in 25 zone!) just to help at an overdose emergency. We can only imagine why he was so motivated. (“Car loud, go fast?! People notice, feel special! Gun fun, maybe use!?”)
