What issues are they imagining are going to be cause by changing an app icon lol

At first, I thought a theme was just a color scheme, and my initial reaction was “relax, people. Let folks use different colors if they want”. After actually reading things, though, I saw that what they mean by “themeing” is much more complex. They have some solid arguments.
