    Never written a firefox plugin before, but why is it using “chrome.storage.sync.get” and other chrome calls?

      From 15-20 years ago I remember some references of “chrome” being a Mozilla thing, likely the name of the UI layer, well before Google’s chrome was even a thing. So it wouldn’t surprise me it persists
