      I just don’t approve of giving the government that authority. They’re not trustworthy.

        I just dont approve of it because its a death panel for the poor and middle class, and so many people turn out to be innocent.

          I disapprove for all of these reasons and many others.

          But mostly: vengeance isn’t justice.

        I always thought it was funny that right wingers tend to support the death penalty while they don’t truat the government to do anything else.

      I’d want it as an option for myself if I ever got a terminal disease that would have me die a horribly painful and undignified death (not to mention potentially bankrupting my family).

      The trick is to ensure that it isn’t abused on individuals that never made the choice for themselves, and that they’re of sound mind without coercion when they make the decision.

      That’s needlessly stressful for prisoners. There are societal roles it would apply better to
