If SCOTUS eliminates Chevron, it will barely matter.
Bingo. Overturning Chevron would effectively neuter any regulatory agency’s power to regulate their area of expertise. And that’s particularly scary when we’re talking about agencies that rely on scientists to inform their rulemaking. The EPA is only one of many agencies that would basically become powerless overnight.
Shit he already hired a guy to run it and do nothing.
He did worse than nothing
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Pruitt
Edward Scott Pruitt (born May 9, 1968) is an American attorney, lobbyist and Republican politician from the state of Oklahoma. He served as the 14th Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from February 17, 2017, to July 9, 2018, during the Donald Trump presidency, resigning while under at least 14 federal investigations.[2] Pruitt denies the scientific consensus on climate change.[3]
He wasn’t just a “lobbyist”, he was a lobbyist for the oil industry.
Also this:
a self-described “leading advocate against the EPA’s activist agenda.” He sued the EPA at least 14 times in the role.
Good ol’ “tactical pants” Pruitt who bought a $7,500 desk and made his office soundproof with taxpayer money i hope he melts like opening the ark.
