I’ve only had the time to watch one episode so far. But it definitely felt like a good show adaptation. Episode one felt like a classic fallout opening.
It’s a fantastic show. My biggest complaint is a problem we’ve been seeing with a lot of shows lately: not enough episodes in a season. Almost feels like it’s just a half season really.
But when the biggest complaint is that I wanted more, that’s a good sign.
whats funny is when in the topic of japan specifically, they used to talk about the complete oppisite situation, as asian seeies lasted no more than a year back then, while thr U.S had long running shows like Friends, Fraiser, Full House and such, where a show got a lot of content
All of those shows are vastly different from something like Fallout regarding production overhead. With that said I wouldn’t mind some long running slice of life Friends or Seinfeld style show in the Fallout universe.

It’s really good.
And in response to the article; no shit. I myself plan to start Fallout 1 once I’m done Pathfinder: Kingmaker. I can only handle one RPG at a time.
That Fallout 1 UI is a great example of how far we’ve come. It’s brutal.

Meanwhile, asian shows dump you with 20+ episodes per season

13 hour days for the cast and crew to do that (similar hours to star trek in the 90s)
With 15 filler episodes.
