It’ll probably take a little while for them to populate and become active, though.
Communities for specific kinds of pets/animals like Wigglebutts and Corgis. Advice communities like AskMechanics. Satire communities like AskAShittyMechanic. ProjectCars. Plex would be another good community. I haven’t managed to find a good HomeTheater community yet. PiHole would be good to bring over. AVExchange and WatchExchange.
Basically all the wholesome subs that brighten your day with all their “aww”-material, be it animals, cute videos of people being nice to each other, maybe wholesome memes as well and things like that

I have been trying to make an “Ask Lemmy” community, but the site just hangs when I click submit. Any ideas?
Yes, I had the same thing when creating a “Greece” community. It happens when a community with that name has already been created and deleted. Message one of the admins and he will fix it for you!
I saw that there is already one on another server. I wouldn’t imagine that have any effect here. Fediverse can be weird.

transgendercirclejerk. It was different from normal trans subreddits because it had a more mature/snappier userbase who poked fun from themselves and everyone else without degrading into racism and toxicity like 4chan
Also antiMLM (could be joined with similar communities like justdependathings, bridezilla, antifundiesnark, LulaNo, etc).
